Maximum loss trails closing balance but is monitored in real time, locking on reaching starting balance. Daily loss limit is selectable; reaching it pauses only that day's trading. Best-day evaluation profit cannot exceed 55% of the profit target. All positions must close before 3:10pm US Central Time. Deliberately trading major news at maximum position size is prohibited, as is automation that exploits simulated fills. The official TopstepX API is available separately.
